Special Waste Policy:

Certain types of waste require special handling, are regulated differently, or may be entirely prohibited. These materials are considered special waste and must be disclosed before loading. Improper disposal can result in additional charges, dumpster refusal, or legal penalties.

Examples of Special Waste:

  • Burn Loads: Any load containing burned, charred or fire-damaged wood or any other burned materials or ash may be flagged as a burn load. These are often considered contaminated and may require separate disposal with higher tipping fees. WE DO NOT ACCEPT ANY BURN LOADS.
  • Creosote-Treated Wood: Items like railroad ties, utility poles, or timbers treated with creosote are classified as hazardous and cannot be accepted under standard disposal.
  • Yard Waste (Leaves, Grass, Brush): These materials may need to be separated from standard debris, depending on local composting and disposal regulations. WE DO NOT ACCEPT ANY ORGANIC WASTE.
  • Concrete, Brick, Asphalt, and Dirt: These heavy materials require prior approval. They may exceed weight limits quickly and are often restricted from mixed loads due to recycling requirements and tonnage limits.
  • Hazardous Materials: Asbestos, medical waste, fluorescent bulbs, light ballasts, closed containers or any liquid waste such as paints, solvents, oils, fuels, and any chemical or flammable substances are strictly prohibited. If found, the entire load may be rejected, and the customer held responsible for cleanup and proper disposal.

Any of the above items will be billed at $400 per every 2000lbs. for a full load OR may be returned to you if rejected.
